| Comments: A bit of Peter's work came to my attention around 1995 when, as a sophmore in high school, I played Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within. The story so moved me--the characters, the dialogue, the mood, the setting, the supernatural elements that speak to powerful themes and struggles in human life--that ever since that year, I have played the game through entirely almost annually. It was upon completing the game tonight, August 19th 2004, that it first occurred to me to see who the actor of Baron Von Glower's part was (it hadn't mattered before; only the story had). I just wanted to convey to him, as MANY have I'm sure, that his was a job BRILLIANTLY executed. Peter's character (the writing), and his performance pretty much MADE that game for me. |

| Comments: Hello Piotrek. My wife and I just played through GK2 together for the third time, and I stumbled across your site while searching the net for more info about von Glower. I wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did portraying this character. He has a depth that really makes you think. He was a good man with a tragic story, but the nature of his curse meant he had to be destroyed. You made the player wish he didn't have to die, but at the same time understand why it must be so. I wouldn't want to see him return from the dead, but I would LOVE to learn more of his past. This would make an excellent movie, you should call Jane Jensen! :) |
