When you were doing The Beast Within did you have any idea Von Glower would become so popular ?

I did not even dream about it. I loved the character. I knew only one scene (the one I read at the audition) but I was so impressed with the writing, with the complexity of the character. I was not aware of the popularity of the character until I left my E-mail address on the Web.

Since you played the part of Friederich von Glower so convincingly are you two much alike, or at least in your view on life?

As an actor I always try to incorporate part of me in the part I portray. I have to draw it from somewhere and the best are always my own memories, experience and personality. And then I let my imagination paint the picture of the character. Sometimes it works. And I am very happy to hear that for quite a few people von Glower was convincing and they cared for him.

What do you think yourself of von Glower, do you think he deserved to die?

I feel the same as a lot fans who tell me, that it was hard for them to kill von Glower at the end. When I saw a Web site "von Glower a victim or .." I felt very proud. I was glad to see that so many of you did not see him as a bad guy.

Were there any similarities between playing von Glower and Konstantin?

Konstantin was a pretender who believed he could become a vampire by killing beautiful woman and drink their blood. He enjoyed being in control. Von Glower was a Werewolf and had natural powers which he did not misuse.

If you look back at your performance as von Glower, are there things you like to have changed?

I never thought about it. I would leave him as it is. Why? Would you like him to be different?

Was a lot of the acting work cut from the original product?

I do not recall anything missing from the original script. It was written so well that they did not have to.

What acting work was extra "challenging" in your career?

Von Glower and Anatoli Boukreev in "Into Thin Air". I found them both very complex characters. Though I also enjoyed playing a Russian "Mafioso" in "Walker Texas Ranger". Each of them is so different.

What was the best part of your entire acting career and why?

It's difficult for me to judge. Von Glower was one of the best parts which I had a chance to play.
 

What in your future acting career would you like to do?

More feature movies. I would like to move to a big screen.

I enjoy it . With couple I correspond. You are one of them.
